The Incident during 2011 prom season)
Dear Customer,
We sincerely hope you are pleased shopping with us. We
have been dedicated to what we do since 2002 and have worked
very hard to be confident about our selection of dresses and
customer service.
Dress business is complicated and can be chaotic
without sophisticated system and experience due to variety
of styles, size, color, event date, availability, exchange,
group-order requirements and so on. Our “No Doubts Customer
Service” system is unique in this industry and allows
customers to know everything about their orders from
beginning to delivery, with detailed logging of
communication and access to customer record.
During
2011 prom season, our website was hacked, and we experienced
a painful period of chaos. Many credit card numbers were
stolen and used in the U.S. and Europe, triggering
investigation and monitoring from local detectives, security
experts from credit card companies, and even U.S.Secret
Service since the situation was related to national
financial security.
Our engineers worked night and day and stopped the
hacking on May 11, and consequently, our entire system has
been restructured and enhanced with security as the priority
#1.
However, our reputation has been damaged and some online
reviews accuse us for the "credit card fraud" and "identity
theft". After much deliberation, we have decided to take this
directly to our customers and ask for an opinion on
experience with our company.
We believe there are many customers who are very
satisfied with our dresses, willing to support us on this
important issue.
For those who experienced a meaningful or successful
special event in our dresses, kindly consider our request
for your opinion.
Mentioning simple facts would suffice, such as item number
purchased, for what occasion, first name and general
location, and how you like or dislike the item and our
